New York City health officials have confirmed a fourth fatality linked to an Upper East Side Legionnaires' disease cluster as remediation efforts continue.

New York City health authorities identified 31 buildings with cooling towers testing positive for Legionella during an investigation into a disease cluster. The Guggenheim Museum has completed mandatory disinfection and remains open.

The New York City Department of Health is currently investigating a cluster of 14 cases of Legionnaires' disease in the Upper East Side neighborhoods.
