George and Amal Clooney have been forced to leave their residence in France as fast-moving wildfires threaten the region, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The couple, alongside their children, departed their property amid a severe environmental crisis impacting southern Europe.

The family's home is situated in Brignoles, a community located within the Var department and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of southeastern France, as noted by Aol. The property, known as the Domaine du Canadel, is a former wine estate purchased by the couple.

In interviews with Rolling Stone and other outlets, George Clooney previously explained that the family relocated to Europe to shield their children from the pressures of Hollywood culture and paparazzi. The family officially obtained French citizenship in December.
