Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued a direct appeal to Vladimir Putin, proposing a face-to-face meeting to bring an end to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

Conditions for a Peaceful Resolution

The Kremlin responded to the proposal by expressing a willingness to engage, though the response included specific geographical requirements. According to public statements, Putin indicated that Russia is “ready for a peaceful solution” and invited Zelenskyy to “come to Moscow whenever you want.”

However, the Russian leader clarified that any potential settlement is contingent upon territorial claims. Regarding a possible agreement with Kyiv, Putin stated:
