Born on 16 November 1943, in Hong Kong, Ho built a prolific career that spanned decades. While she became a globally recognized figure as the enigmatic and formidable crime boss Madame Gao in the Marvel series Daredevil, Iron Fist, and The Defenders, her professional life was anchored in a steadfast commitment to theater and a wide range of television and film performances. Ho’s portrayal of Madame Gao, an ancient leader of the Hand, introduced her to audiences worldwide.
