David Jonsson cast as Black Panther and Ryan Gosling joins MCU as Ghost Rider

Marvel Studios reshaped its cinematic future during a landmark presentation at Comic-Con International, delivering two major casting announcements alongside updates to upcoming crossover events. The studio used the packed Hall H session to officially introduce David Jonsson as the next Black Panther and reveal that Ryan Gosling is entering the franchise as Ghost Rider.

The character was originally introduced in the closing moments of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which established that the late Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa had a young son with Nakia. In another major casting coup, Marvel Studios executive Kevin Feige confirmed that Ryan Gosling will headline a standalone Ghost Rider film.
