Kenny Omega faces Kevin Knight for AEW World title at Redemption

Omega, who captured the top prize from MJF on the previous week's broadcast, celebrated his victory at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The celebration began with the Young Bucks presenting Omega with a new classic title belt to replace the Triple B belt previously held by MJF. Darby Allin then attacked Knight from behind, while the Death Riders moved in to prevent the Don Callis Family from swarming Omega and Ospreay.

The tension surrounding Knight extends beyond the world title. In a backstage segment, Darby Allin informed Omega that Knight needed to be physically humbled and announced that next week, he will take the TNT title from Knight. This was supported by Jon Moxley, who told Omega that Allin was right.

Omega stated there are less than 50 days remaining until the event and promised that fans would see the best version of him to date.
